Idube Game Lodge, is situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, adjoining the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Home to the big 5, in the heart of South Africa’s premier wildlife conservation area. The lodge has recently been refurbished and the gazebo was added as a great chill out area for relaxing and enjoying the view.
There are 8 Safari Chalets which are all decorated individually and also have baths, inside and outside showers, as well as private decks. Wi-fi is available, rooms have hairdryers and safes. These comfortable rooms offer a safe, cool haven between activities.
There are 3 Suites, the 2 Makubela Suites, and the Leadwood Suite. All feature spacious rooms and decks leading to private pools. Each room has its own well stocked mini bar, baths, inside and outside showers, hairdryer, safe and wi-fi. Guests can request their choice of minibar drinks, which we will arrange with pleasure. Be aware that elephants frequently come close to the pools of the Makubela Suites
Guests can enjoy different venues for dining and the evening dinner held in the open air boma is always a favorite. Idube features a weekly bush braai (barbeque) weather permitting. The change of venue is always exciting and a whole different experience. This may be moved to bush breakfasts in the cooler weather. Private dining is also available in one o the many spots around the camp
Relax around the swimming pool while sipping an ice-cold drink in a relaxing natural environment or in one of our Suites (Makubela or Leadwood) which have their own private pools.
There is also a lovely swing bridge to the hide which is popular with guests.

Idube Game Lodge is situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, in the heart of South Africa’s premier wildlife conservation area. Entrance gates are through Shaws Gate or Newington Gate.
HOW TO GET THERE
There are daily flights from Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo) and Cape Town International to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA). The Johannesburg flights take 45 minutes and Cape Town flights take 2 hours. The transfer from KMIA to the lodge which is done in a luxury vehicle takes one
and a half hour transfer by road. Charter flights from Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo) direct to the Sabi Sands Reserve and then a 10 minute Landrover transfer to the lodge
